Doyon Logistics Services (DLS) was notified in September 2013 by the Little Rock District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers that the company was awarded a contract entitled, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity Multiple Award Task Order Contract for Design-Build Construction and Initial Outfitting Services in Support of the U.S. Air Force Medical Service. The IDIQ MATOC contract will include a variety of tasks in the Continental U.S., Alaska, Hawaii, and Worldwide. This is an IDIQ MATOC for a two base year and three option years, for an amount not to exceed $188,000,000 over the life of the contract. We’re still awaiting notification of the initial seed project award to either DLS or one of the other two MATOC awardees. There’s no indication when that announcement will be made. This MATOC win is a substantial win for DGG and for DLS, since it gives DLS an opportunity to win work Worldwide over the next five years.
Under this contract, DLS and our teaming partners Hoefer Wysocki Architects (HWA), gkkworks, and MILHOT will design, construct, and outfit new or newly renovated medical and health care facilities. Work to be performed under this contract includes design-build, repair, alteration, and restoration to modernize clinics, hospitals, administrative buildings, healthcare facilities, warehouses, veterinary clinics, ancillary facilities, and wellness centers.
