DMS wins first $10M IDIQ contract from the Coast Guard

Doyon Management Services (DMS) was notified on November 26th, 2013 by the U.S. Coast Guard, Civil Engineering Unit – Oakland that the company will be awarded a Basic Ordering Agreement entitled “Pilot Program for Competitive Actions under the 8(a) Program”. The IDIQ contract will include emergency repairs and minor construction work in the states of Oregon and Washington. This is an IDIQ for a three year base period and two option years with a $10 Million overall capacity. Task Orders will range in size up to $3 Million each. This is another substantial win for DGG as it is the first multi-year IDIQ contract awarded to DMS. This is also a great opportunity to secure additional Task Order work for the Construction Group in the Northwest over the next five years.

The anticipated work for this contract includes a variety of renovation and repair services, including: design-build services, on-site design solutions, interior and exterior renovations, erecting fences and shelters, ramps, sidewalks, and other concrete work, installation of utilities, pipelines, and conduits, installation of electrical and mechanical devices, roof repairs, demolition, environmental remediation, and asphalt work, painting, ceiling repairs and modifications, floating dock/waterside alterations and repairs, waterline repairs, electric power line and communication line repairs, interior building repairs, and HVAC and Mechanical repairs.
