Cherokee General awarded $100M JBLM MATOC Contract

Cherokee General Corporation (Cherokee) was just notified by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Seattle District that the company will be awarded a contract entitled, SBSA MATOC for Multi-Disciplinary Maintenance, Repair, Construction and Incidental Design Work for Joint Base Lewis-McChord (JBLM) and its Sub-Installations.  This is an IDIQ MATOC for a base year and four option years, for an amount not to exceed $100,000,000 over the life of the contract.  This MATOC is another important win for DGG and for Cherokee, as the work will continue to allow Cherokee to complete for critical JBLM infrastructure upgrades over the next five years. 

This IDIQ MATOC will include a variety of renovation tasks at JBLM, as well as work at its sub-installations and other customers supported by USACE – Seattle.  Task orders will encompass substantial renovation tasks, including a variety of work to include road and airfield repairs, roofing, excavation, interior/exterior upgrades, mechanical systems, fire suppressions systems, electrical systems, and underground or overhead utilities upgrades.
