Cherokee General awarded $45M in IDIQ contracts from Indian Health Services

Cherokee General Corporation (Cherokee) was notified by the Department of Health and Human Services, Indian Health Services (IHS) that the company has been selected for three (3) new Multiple Award Construction Contracts (MACCs).  Individual contract awards will be for three different regions – the Albuquerque/Navajo, Phoenix/Tucson and Oklahoma regions.  This is a  tremendous result, given Cherokee was the only firm selected for the three individual contract pools,  each for a base year plus four option years adding an additional $45M in upcoming contract ceiling awards to our current master contract amounts.  This is also a significant win, since it expands our opportunities for medical facility tasks and our emerging presence in the Southwest.

The work to be performed under this IDIQ contract includes a full range of facility construction and maintenance services for the IHS facilities in each area.   New facility construction, facility outfitting, new utility systems, and facility renovations are all likely to be included in upcoming tasks.
