USACE Naval Research Laboratory Electrical Upgrades, Washington D.C. – $10.2M

Doyon Project Services is working with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Baltimore District on this $10.2M, 545-calendar-day project to upgrade the Naval Research Laboratory Electrical System in Washington D.C. including demolition of the existing and and providing new transformers, upgrading switchboards and switchgear, and associated equipment for an operational electrical system. The existing transformers and substation units are older, leaking fluids and require replacement. The switchboards lack the physical breaker space to accommodate the new loads, is beyond its serviceable life, and has several code violations. In some instances, the switchgear is also at or beyond its serviceable life and requires replacement.

USCG Water Line Repair, Grays Harbor, WA – $22K

Doyon Technical Services is working with the U.S. Coast Guard on this $22K project to excavate, repair a 2” water line, fill, and re-pave affected area at U.S. Coast Guard Station Grays Harbor, WA.

BPA Substation Roof and Siding Replacement, Garrison, MT and Keeler, OR – $2.0M

Cherokee General Corporation is working with the Bonneville Power Administration on this $2.0M project to construct substation facility alterations at two BPA substations including: replacement of windows and entry storefronts, replacement of roofing over existing roof sheathing, replacement of skylights, addition of furring, insulation, and metal siding over existing siding, adjustment of equipment mounted on existing siding to face new siding, painting of doors and exposed CMU walls, and replacement of wood columns in attic.

USCG Install Glass Modular Wall, Building 1, USCG Base Seattle, WA – $29K

Doyon Technical Services is working with the U.S. Coast Guard on this $29K project to create a private conference room in Building 1 on the 3rd floor by closing off an open concept conference room with a frosted glass modular wall.
