Cherokee General Corporation, a Minority-Owned, Small Disadvantaged Business, has been collaborating with the Bonneville Power Administration (BPA) on a project involving the inspection of all light fixture lenses within the Dittmer Building. The focus of this endeavor is to identify any defective latching mechanisms associated with these fixtures. By addressing these issues, the project aims to enhance safety and functionality in the building.
Cherokee General Corporation is working with the Bonneville Power Administration on this $2.0M project to construct substation facility alterations at two BPA substations including: replacement of windows and entry storefronts, replacement of roofing over existing roof sheathing, replacement of skylights, addition of furring, insulation, and metal siding over existing siding, adjustment of equipment mounted on existing siding to face new siding, painting of doors and exposed CMU walls, and replacement of wood columns in attic.
Cherokee General Corporation will be working with the Bonneville Power Administration to replace HVAC Systems at several Control Houses near Sliver Lake, OR that are at the end of their useful lives.

Cherokee General Corporation will be working with The Bonneville Power Administration to perform a variety of roofing projects at multiple locations in Oregon State.
At the Big Eddy Substation in The Dalles, OR and at the Redmond District Office in Redmond, OR, Cherokee will be providing roof replacement services for the complete replacement of the existing composition shingle roof with a new high wind installation of 3-tab architectural shingle roof assembly on the Maintenance Headquarters.
At the Salem Substation Control House in Salem, OR, Cherokee be providing services for the Demolition of the existing EPDM roof and complete replacement with a different new roof system and new parapet accessories on the Control House.
At the Summer Lake Substation in Silver Lake, OR, Cherokee will be providing roof replacement services for the complete replacement of the two existing composition shingle roofs with a gun metal gray 24-gage double locked standing seam roof system for the Summer Lake Substation Control House and Engine Generator Buildings.
