USACE TMDL Stormwater Management Project, JBMHH, VA – $2.7M

Doyon Technical Services will be working with USACE Baltimore District on this Design-Build contract for Total Maximum Daily Load (TMDL) Stormwater Management (SWM) at Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall, Fort Myer, VA. Purpose of project is to construct small stormwater management retrofits to reduce pollutants in stormwater runoff in order for JBMHH to meet their regulatory TMDL requirement in the installation stormwater discharge (MS4) permit. Specifically, the scope involves installing precast bioretention filter inlets adjacent to existing storm drain curb inlets in three parking lots to treat the runoff prior to discharge to the storm drain system. Work includes minor pavement and curb demolition, excavation, site lighting conduit relocation, installing the new units, backfill, seeding and sodding, connecting underdrains to the existing storm drain system, repairing curb and gutter and pavement.
