USSF Repair Optics Maintenance Storage, CCSFS, FL – $7.2M

This project for the US Space Force is to renovate and upgrade a 35,000 SF hangar at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station with a large hangar bay and two-story office space. The project includes remediation of lead paint, asbestos, and mold, replacement of hangar doors, windows, and man doors, and restroom renovations. Additional upgrades involve ceilings, HVAC, lighting, fire protection systems, and installation of a new fire alarm/mass notification system. It also includes reskinning the hangar and replacing all windows with hurricane-rated impact models, while updating all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
