Cherokee General Corporation was awarded a project with the U.S. Forest Services to reconstruct an existing group picnic area and construct snow play areas. Work included reconstructing, constructing, and installing asphalt roads, low water crossing, deep & shallow drainage swales, gates, water system, wastewater system, entrance building, concessionaire building, toilet buildings, group sites, pavilion shelters and fire places at two group sites, dumpster pads, concrete paths, site furniture, signing, propane pads, generator pads, minor earthwork and grooming for snow play areas, and scarification and rehabbing disturbed areas.
