Doyon Project Services was awarded this $10.1M project with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Sacramento District to remove and replace the existing roof on Building 845 on Hill AFB in Utah. DPS removed and disposed of existing rooftop HVAC units and exhaust vents and associated roof curbs then prepared the existing concrete and metal deck to receive new modified bitumen and insulation systems. DPS then replaced deteriorated or damaged metal deck and ensured the existing concrete and metal substrates were sound, dry, and approved by the roofing manufacturer prior to installing new roofing assembly. This 480,000 SF warehouse remained fully operational throughout construction, and extra care was taken to protect personnel, equipment, and materials located inside Building 845.
