Doyon Management Services was awarded a $342K project by the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) Shore Infrastructure Logistics Center, to replace fuel tanks at the USCG’s Station Gloucester at Gloucester, Massachusetts, and Station Merrimack River Newburyport, Massachusetts.  The project was awarded under Doyon’s USCG Region 1, Regional Multiple Award Construction Contract (RMACC) and will include the removal and disposal of 1,000-gallon marine diesel fuel above-ground storage tanks and appurtenant equipment, and removal of the liquid/materials remaining in the tanks and piping systems.  A replacement1,000-gallon marine diesel fuel double wall tank will be provided at Station Gloucester, as well as replacement power and control cables, and concrete-filled steel bollards.  At Station Merrimack River, a new 1,500-gallon split gasoline and marine diesel fuel double wall tank in concrete enclosure will be installed, along with power and control cables, alarms, and power supplies.
