USACE Design-Build Access Control Point Program – $95M

Awarded in August of 2021, Doyon Management Services will be working with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Huntsville District on this 8(a), 5-year, Design-Build, $95M Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC) Access Control Point (ACP) Program.

This contract will provide repair and renewal services in support of the U.S. Army, and other federal agencies with ACP Design Build repair, renovation, conversion, alteration, additions, construction, commissioning, testing, measurement and verification, and equipment procurement/installation at Government installations and facilities. It will also include electrical power distribution systems, grounding systems, standby and emergency power, lightning and surge protection, short-circuit coordination studies, reliability/availability studies, Heating, Ventilating and Air Conditioning systems, fire protection systems, fire alarm/mass notification, communications systems, energy and energy conservation, and facility commissioning/re-commissioning.

USACE Building 503 Renovation of Sleep Research Center, WRAIR, MD – $2.2M

Doyon Project Services will be working with USACE Mobile District on this 320 calendar-day Design-Build project off of it’s MEDCOM contract to renovate the Sleep Research Center on the 2nd Floor of Building 503 at Walter Reed Army Institute of Research, Forest Glen Annex, Silver Spring, MD.  The project includes removal, storage and de/re-installation of all equipment, furniture, furnishings, resource protection, information technology, systems and communications to and from the designated transition space and final space for all departments impacted by the construction effort.

NAVFAC D/B Building 95 Boiler Replacement Naval Station Newport, RI – $703K

Doyon Technical Services will be working with NAVFAC Mid-Atlantic on this 365 calendar-day project to replace the existing heating boilers that service the building steam loops with new natural gas fired steam boilers. Building 95, Officer’s Club, is a two-story structure, including a mezzanine. The 34,975-square foot building was constructed in 1919 and is currently used as a restaurant and dining hall.

NAVFAC Dry Dock #8 Replace Pumpwell Thimble Plate, Norfolk Naval Station, Portsmouth, VA – $1M

Doyon Project Services will be working with NAVFAC Mid-Atlantic on this 194 calendar-day project at Norfolk Naval Station to remove six steel thimble plates over water pump chamber openings and install concrete plugs over the openings to permanently seal them.
